Sizing matters more than the brand
The biggest mistake we see on the Wasatch Front is an oversized unit that some installer slapped in to play it safe. Too big and it short-cycles, never dehumidifies right, and wears out early. We run an actual load calculation on your house β square footage, windows, insulation, which way it faces β and size from that. Boring, but it's the part that makes the difference for the next 15 years.
What you get from us
- A couple of real options. Usually a solid mid-range pick and a higher-efficiency one. We tell you the trade-offs and let you choose.
- A flat, written quote. Equipment, labor, permits, haul-away β all of it. No "we found something" surprises mid-install.
- A clean job. Drop cloths down, old unit gone, work area swept. We do it the way we'd want it done at our own place.
- Financing if you want it. 0%-interest plans for qualified homeowners, so a dead furnace in January isn't a crisis.
Worth checking before you buy
High-efficiency systems can knock a real dent in your Rocky Mountain Power and Dominion bills, and there are often rebates or tax credits floating around. We'll point you to whatever you qualify for β ENERGY STAR keeps an honest rundown of efficient heating & cooling if you like to read up first.
